Terms of Service

Last updated: January 1, 2024

1. General Provisions

1. These Regulations specify the general conditions, rules, and method of providing services by Easy Przeprowadzki (hereinafter referred to as the "Contractor").

2. The Ordering Party (Client) may be a natural person, legal entity, or organizational unit without legal personality.

3. The basis for service execution is an order placed by the Client and confirmed by the Contractor. Placing an order is equivalent to accepting these Regulations.

2. Scope of Services and Valuation

1. The Contractor provides services in the field of property transport, home and office relocations, furniture assembly/disassembly, packing services, and carrying items up/down stairs.

2. Service valuation is free of charge and based on information provided by the Client. The valuation is binding provided the actual state corresponds to the description.

3. If the Client conceals information about unusual dimensions (pianos, safes), heavy weight, or significant access difficulties (no elevator, long walking distances), the Contractor reserves the right to update the price or withdraw from the order.

3. Obligations of the Client

1. The Client is obliged to properly prepare and secure property for transport (including packing small items in boxes), unless they ordered a packing service from the Contractor.

2. The Client should ensure free access to loading and unloading areas (including organizing and reserving a parking space for the delivery vehicle as close to the entrance as possible).

3. Highly valuable items (cash, jewelry, securities, valuable art, documents) should be transported by the Client personally. The Contractor does not transport dangerous, flammable, or explosive materials.

4. Liability and Insurance

1. The Contractor holds Carrier's Civil Liability Insurance (OCP) and is liable for property entrusted for transport, from the start of loading until the completion of unloading.

2. The Contractor is not liable for hidden damages (e.g., mechanical failure in electronics/appliances, damage inside packed boxes) or property packed and secured improperly by the Client themselves.

3. Any visible property damage must be reported immediately upon completion of the service (in the presence of the Contractor's employees) and noted in the service protocol, under penalty of losing compensation claims.

5. Payments and Settlements

1. Payment for the service is due immediately upon completion in cash or by credit card, based on an agreed flat rate or hourly billing.

2. In the case of hourly billing, working time is counted from arrival at the loading address until work is completed at the unloading address (plus any agreed travel costs).

6. Withdrawal and Order Cancellation

1. The Client has the right to cancel the service at least 48 hours before the scheduled date without incurring costs.

2. Cancellation less than 24 hours in advance or on the day of service entitles the Contractor to charge the Client a contractual penalty as compensation for the reserved time and operational costs.

7. Final Provisions

1. Matters not covered by these Regulations are governed by the relevant provisions of the Polish Civil Code and Transport Law. Disputes will be resolved by the court competent for the Contractor's headquarters, and in cases involving Consumers, the court determined by general provisions.
